TOG was developed to address impediments to agriculture growth directly linked to low mechanization equipment tractor density in Nigeria.
The main objective of TOG is to eliminate the pains and sufferings of smallholder farmers in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa via the establishment of at least 2000 Mechanization Centers across the country within the next decade at the rate of 200 Centers per annum.
To eliminate the pains and sufferings of farmers in Nigeria by erasing drudgery and use of muscle power for farming through easy access to farm mechanization services.
TOG is a multiplatform hailing app the links farmers to registered service providers enabled to operate on the platform as operators; it allows equipment registrations, farmer or customers’ registration. The platform also partners other service providers to expand farmers access to its services, such as partnership with vendors, local agent and consultant enable tractor vendors to join and offer equipment leasing and after sale support, it also allows banks and Infrastructure Companies to offer their service to it and by extension to the farmer.
The platform is design to be very interactive, whether you are a farmer requiring service (customer) or equipment owner (operators) wanting to provide service using the platform you can log in using www.tog.ng and select register, as a customer, upon log-in immediately select your desired location where service is required, nearest centre will pop-up or you can see directly from the area map, select location, then pick service type, size of land and proceed to payment, enter emails, telephone number and proceed to payment, enter payment details.
The platform allows book and prepayment for service, it also allows service provider to offer services with the guarantee that TOG has received payment and will transfer such payment at due date. The platform takes and confirms payment only through its payment systems; you can pay directly through the platform, by short-code coupon payment and POS.
The complaint resolution process is an interactive process which entails the following:
⦁ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)- available FAQs will provide answers to most if not all customer concerns and this will be made available to all registered users.
⦁ Online complaint form – aggrieved customers can go online and fill out the complaint form and due to the interactive nature of the platform, these issues will be addressed accordingly.
⦁ Community interactive sessions – regular community session will also be an avenue for customer concerns to be addressed drawing from learnings of other community members.
⦁ Direct Call Through – customers/users can call TOG representatives via dedicated phone numbers for one-on-one resolution.

Who uses the platform
Most of TOG field representative, direct customers interface operation is done through its key partners, some of which include enterprise owner/ operators, equipment vendors, banks and local service agents etc. partner’s agent directly with TOG team for registration and partnership agreements.
A vendor is either a direct equipment manufacturer or representative. The engagement with equipment vendors became very necessary due to the challenges of equipment repairs, financing constraints, and spares part sourcing. Other includes training capacity building to assure prompt and professional service.

The scheme is design to unlock financing and protect the bank from the risk of default, the tractors remains the property of the bank until full payment is made and debtor discharged.
Financial institution partners are at three level; platform banks, equipment financing agent, and equipment lease financing partners. This is a conscious strategic design to support enterprise with the needed finance to own equipment on the platform.
Unlike the taxi hailing platform, tractor and mechanization equipment are specialized; requiring various levels of professionalism and specialization to secure the equipment, provide shelter for farmers and comfort for partners in the scheme.
