Tractor on the Go has so far equipped many rural farmers with access to farm mechanization equipment for their farming operations.
“Unless Africa uses modern technologies, our farmers’ output will remain low and we will remain dependent on others to feed us.” Akinwumi Adesina, 2017) This statement resonates well and deeply with us at Tractor on the Go. It is our true belief that every farmer in every community should have access to resources that will make their work easier, faster and more productive. This is why our vision lies in eliminating the pains and sufferings of the average farmer and their dependence on muscle power and crude implements for farming.
We do this by creating streamlined access to tractors and harvesters to cater to various farming processes. These processes include ploughing, harrowing, planting, and harvesting. We have also made accessing our services simple. Through our TOGWorld app, farmers can request our services when they need them the most.
Since 2018, our work has led us to touch the lives of many farmers in 22 states across the country.
We have also taken deliberate steps to empower rural farmers, not just with mechanization tools but the right knowledge.
TOG has, and is, providing training for farmers and young unemployed youths. We have partnered with necessary stakeholders and recently reaffirmed our promise to drive agric mechanization in Nigeria. Our training offers a unique opportunity for skills and knowledge empowerment that can lead to a better, self-sustained life.
We’re also creating a means to reduce unemployment in Nigeria by encouraging young people to go into farming properly. We consistently engage community residents in the states we operate in to work with us on different levels.
Driving agric mechanization is at the forefront of who we are and what we do at Tractor on the Go.
